West Virginia economy falling behind nation

CHARLESTON — West Virginia’s reliance on the besieged coal and steel industries could spell trouble as the state struggles to maintain its longest period of economic growth in decades, says an economic forecast released Tuesday.
George Hammond, assistant professor at the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at West Virginia University, said the sixth annual forecast shows continued job growth, an end to population declines and relatively low unemployment.

The only recognizable name in audio comedy is the great Adam Sandler. His CD’s are dirty and often downright raunchy, but MAN are they funny. His latest, Stan and Judy’s Kid, doesn’t let down. Varied as any music CD, it is a riot through and through.
