Some Career Success Academy classes to change grading policies

WASHINGTON — Questions linger about the Clintons’ $1.7 million purchase of their post-White House residence in a New York City suburb. The first couple must cope with $8,500 monthly payments even as they wrap up their eight years in the White House.

Dividing the funds
Teachers deserve a portion of federal funding for education

s part of his proposal for education, Bill Clinton hopes to hire more teachers and decrease class sizes. In order to do this, he is requesting Congress allot $1.4 billion for his program. Republicans also admit the need for an increase of spending on education and are willing to accept $1.2 billion, if states are given more flexibility in the money’s use.

It needed “Emergo”
House on Haunted Hill entertains even without an inflatable skeleton

When William Castle’s House on Haunted Hill was released in theaters in 1958 it was accompanied by an effect called “Emergo” in which a large glow-in-the-dark skeleton would pop out of a box above the movie screen during the film’s finale. Such gimmicks were common to Castle’s films.
