Spirit of volunteerism helps make gourmet food party a success

A sample of world food and culture could be found Friday night, as support from volunteers and donations from area businesses culminated in the successful Gourmet Food Party fund-raiser.  The Council of International Programs, which helps teach people from every corner of the world about American life, hosted the event.

lying isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, at least not anymore. An EgyptAir Boeing 767 crashed down in the Atlantic Ocean on Sunday morning, claiming the lives of 217 people.

Sting matures on Brand New Day

Sting, the charismatic former lead singer of The Police has just released his new album Brand New Day, but he has come a long way from the 80’s. This recent effort continues his experimentation into country music, and expands his sound into different genres. Sting has a very mature sound that is entertaining, but not for everyone.
