On Nov. 10, the West Virginia University Board of Governors voted to extend WVU President David Hardesty’s contract for an additional five years, the maximum time period allowed by law.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — U.N. arms inspectors returned to Iraq after a four-year hiatus Monday, calling on President Saddam Hussein’s government to cooperate with their search for weapons of mass destruction in the interest of peace. But Washington said it already sees likely violations.

Recent mock disaster was
necessary, helpful to area
hen some Morgantown residents saw a large collection of area fire departments, police and HazMat units and ambulances massing around the Evansdale campus, they were undoubtedly worried. Especially since they hadn’t gotten the word about a mock disaster.
