Southern West Virginia offers more than one might imagine

Driving from Morgantown to southern West Virginia is something I am used to. Ever since I can remember, and even before that, my family and I have taken vacations in West Virginia. Mainly to Seneca Rocks, Watoga State Park, Cass Scenic Railroad and Green Bank. One time, when I was around 7 or 8 years old, my sister puked on the way to Watoga State Park -- we ate at Shoney’s in Elkins on the way and it obviously did not agree with her. I can still smell the stench of it every time I think about it.
