Games offer weekend of events

This Friday evening, the sky will be ablaze.  So will the emotions of nearly 600 hopeful athletes, as the West Virginia Special Olympics summer games return to Morgantown for the fourth consecutive year.

Trolley-style buses take Morgantown back in time

At 10:30 a.m. on Monday the streets of Morgantown took on a look of nostalgia with two new trolley-style buses. The green and red Freightliner Classic American Trolleys were recently purchased on a state contract secured by Senator Robert C. Byrd for $140 thousand a piece.

Napster, record labels close deal

SAN FRANCISCO — In a deal that could legitimize Napster, the outlaw song-sharing service is close to signing a deal with three major record labels to participate in a new music subscription service this summer, industry sources said Tuesday.
